So I bought it...

With help from my amazing sister I bought 3 months of E-Mealz. I signed up for the Walmart Points Plan for 2. I'm kinda sad that this only a meal plan for dinner. I don't want to have to think for myself what I'm going to eat for my breakfast and dinner :) We're a little short on money for all the meals this week but the week also starts again on Wednesday so I'm kinda in the middle of the week anyways.

I've also decided that I need a nice new food journal to go with my new meal plans. I'm doing a Points Plan thinking that this will be one of the healthier choices. And I went with the Original instead of the Points Plus Plan because I don't know anything about the new Weight Watchers points and feel that the oldie is still a goodie and I understood how it worked.

So long ramble short tonight I've ordered my DietMinder journal that I mentioned before. I'm excited! I love pretty new notebooks. I've got tons of notebooks and journals. They kind of make me happy as if its a new beginning for me waiting to started.

Shape Magazine

**Day 2**

I got up at 9am and had a great start to my day. I had a yogurt and piece of raisin bread with peanut butter for breakfast.
I decided to let my little balance board buddy on wii fit to decide my 30 minute work out routine. I won't do that again. I'm just not ready for push ups and some of the yoga moves. I can't pull my knee to my chest much less attempt to do so with my back straight. I'm just not ready. I do like a lot of the yoga moves though for the stretching I feel but they don't quite feel like I'm getting my heart rate up.
Today I did:
  • Rowing Squat
  • Sideways Leg Lift
  • Chair
  • Push Up & Side Plank
  • Single Leg Extension
  • Half Moon
  • Plank
  • Deep Breathing
  • Tree
  • Torso Twists
  • Salutation
  • Single Leg Twist
  • Standing Knee
  • Triangle
  • Jackknife
  • Palm Tree
  • Triceps Extension x2
I didn't get any scores of how well I did with each one which is kind of a bummer. Oh well. I burned 145 Calories.

I almost wasn't going to do Walk It Out but decided to at least do a few minutes but I got into it so much I did better than yesterday.
  •  201.4 Calories Burned
  • 5101 Steps
  • 1.4 Miles
I really enjoyed my walk today I think I'll do it again after a while.

Tools I Want to Buy

I've been wanting to keep a food journal. As much as I'd like to just keep track of points like Weight Watchers I am considering just keeping track of my calories. I found this food and activity journal the Diet Minder which is a spiral bound journal. I love the way that you can track everything from your water, vitamins, to activity and food. Hmmm. It's only $10 from Amazon so I may buy it later on with my Swagbucks.

I also would like to get another fitness game. I rented the Biggest Loser and enjoyed the little bit that I tried. My honey said he'd like to do a Salsa dancing game so I'm thinking Zumba would be fun to do together.

So far I've been working out with my Wii Fit Plus and Walk it Out. I love Walk it Out! It's very upbeat game. The music really gets me moving. I've got my Wii connected to the stereo so when I play this game I crank up the volume. My honey will go on walks with me and we've been building up the island together and have a lot of fun. Don't let the cover fool you with the young kids on the front because this is definitely a game fun for all.

**Day 1**

Okay so I slept in until 10am again but I didn't get up and go straight to the computer today. My sweetheart brought me a hot tea to start and made me a pancake with a poached egg. I feel so loved! He takes such good care of me. I as waiting for my Wii Fit to give me a lecture since I haven't used it in 34 days. I actually have gained 2.2lbs since I've last used it, putting me at 251.1lbs. (44.49 BMI) I got 30 minutes of exercise in today.
This is what I did today:
152 Calories Burned:
Warrior- 91 pts
Bulls Eye-34 pts
Downward Facing Dog- 69 pts
Jackknife- 100 pts
Single Leg Twist- 68 pts
Snowball Fight- 9 hits

Advanced Step- 481 pts
Standing Knee- 95 pts
Soccer Headings- 76 pts & 61 pts
Ski Slalom- Beginner-00:37.96
Advanced- 1:17.76

Plus I did my Walk It Out game:

It's not bad but I didn't break a sweat. But my house is freezing today so I'm pretty sure that had a lot to do with it.

Someone's having a giveaway!

My good friend Brandi over at Searching4Serenity.com is having her first Giveaway. Go over to her blog here and enter to win a $35 promotional code to CSN stores.

I've got my fingers crossed.

My Bedroom

I blogged about how I wanted this bedroom design by the end of 2010. Well that totally didn't happen. I at least got my bedroom the way I want it. Still a bunch of red but it's now just splashes of it. My honey isn't a big fan of the canopy but I LOVE it. The only teeny, tiny thing missing is a rug to match. But really that's a minor thing. So what do you think? I love it!

Once again...

It's a new year and I have a lot of rambling on to do so I figured instead of boring my honey to death I'd bore anyone who's listening. Anyways this year I made several resolutions and I haven't really been holding myself accountable to them.
  1. I want to lose 50 lbs and I've got a plan but that's my other blog 31 Weeks 'Til 31 Years.
  2. I want to improve my credit score this year.  So far I've got my credit report from TransUnion. I've got a credit score from CreditKarma.com (not a FICA). I've made my budget. Now I've just got to get a job to pay off all my bills.
  3. Save an emergency fund. Following Dave Ramsey's baby steps plan I'm going to start with $1000 and then our 3 month plan is to add another $1400.
  4. I need to really start thinking about another car. I've got almost 170,000 miles and it's time to be prepared.
  5. Finish decorating the apartment. The only room in the house that I love is my bedroom. My living room is about 1/2 way there but the spare/storage room needs some organization. My kitchen has no organization either.
So I'll be adding great deals when I see them, as well as photos of my shopping and trying to keep track of my spending. And rambling on about who know what... :D

(220 Days To Go)

Hee Hee I have to confess... I haven't started a thing. Today is actually the first day I 've even really thought about my blog. Horrible no? Anyhow I finally got my blog to load a design after fighting with it a while. I like it. So it's going on 2pm and haven't done anything but been on the computer. Sure I didn't wake up until 10am so it's only been 4 wasted hours.

Today hasn't been off to the best start is an overstatement. I'm never going to get anywhere with the way I eat. So far for breakfast I've only had a cold pork chop, a handful of chocolates, and a diet coke. Eek! I know ideally I should have at least a bowl of grits and some egg whites with a hot tea. I actually have been thinking about my diet. Last night while looking up financial information I came across a site that Dave Ramsey endorses that I thought looks pretty interesting, E-MEALZ - Menu Planning. I might have to try it and if I do I'll let you know more later on.

So I'm going to make some goals. Again.
  • No more coffee -I just overdo it with the cream and sugar. Tea gives me the same buzz and it tastes good with Splenda.
  • Water- Yep it's a must for every ones list. I have a water filter and TONS of bottled water so nothings stopping me there but myself.
  • No computer until I've worked out- Ouch! That one is going to hurt me the most.
  • Weigh in every Friday- If I'm on the wii I'll be checking my weight everyday but I'll only take into serious consideration my Friday weigh ins. And still not to put too much priority into what the scale says. I just want to lose a couple pant sizes and I'll be ecstatic.
  • Clean house- I'm kinda lazy when it comes to that and I've got a great man that picks up my slack. I really need to get up off the couch from time to time and get moving.

Alright maybe my fat butt should get up and do something. I think I'll start with getting a bottled water. I'll check in later.
